ALEXANDER HELD
ACTOR
From his beginnings on the soccer pitch (TSV 1860 Munich), to the great German stages (Munich Kammerspiele, Freie Volksbühne Berlin, Hanover, Basel, Salzburg Festival), Alexander Held's path led him next to the set of numerous cinema and television films, series, and serials.
Career highlights include his appearances in Steven Spielberg's “Schindler’s List,” Oliver Hirschbiegel's “Der Untergang,” and Marc Rothemund's Oscar-nominated drama “Sophie Scholl – Die Letzten Tage.”
Alexander Held plays the leading role as a detective in “Stralsund” as well as in “München Mord,” for which he received the Ehrenpreis at the Deutsches FernsehKrimi-Festival in 2023.
