Franziska Weisz is one of the most well-known Austrian actresses based in Berlin. Her career started when Markus Schleinzer cast her for „Hundstage,“ directed by Ulrich Seidl. She continued working for other remarkable feature films. Among them is Dietrich Brüggemann’s „Kreuzweg,“ „Hotel“ by Jessica Hausner, and „Der Räuber,“ directed by Benjamin Heisenberg.
Over the years Franziska Weisz was also seen in leading roles in several motion pictures and series for television networks like „Der Staatsfeind“ (SAT.1) by Felix Herzogenrath, and Brigitte Maria Bertele’s „Die vierte Gewald“ (arte, NDR).
