PAULA ESSAM
ACTRESS
Actress and multi-talented linguist Paula Essam, born in Lübeck.
She went to Korea to study media, Chinese and Japanese. The fact that she became South Korea's first foreign cheerleader for the Doosan Bears is typical for her character. Paula landed her first TV job as a reporter for a Korean travel reality format.
In 2018, Paula began her acting training at the IAF Acting School Cologne, which she successfully completed in 2021. Already during her training, she was casted for various film and TV projects.
One of them was the award-winning short film "SchwarzWeiss," directed by Teresia Harris in which Paula played the leading role. In 2020, she was part of the successful Netflix series "How to sell Drugs online (fast)". Paula also starred in front of the camera in the feature film "Drei Leben lang," in 2021. In the same year she also played a part in the TV productions "Der Feind meines Feindes" (ZDF) and "Die Füchsin - Verraten und Verlassen" (ARD).
For Disney+ she was part of the main cast of "Sam - Ein Sachse" in 2022.
