CINEMATOGRAPHER
Armin Dierolf studied at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakadmie Berlin (dffb). He became known through international co-productions, such as “Petting Zoo,” which was screened at the Berlinale in the Panorama section, “White Shadows” which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and won the Lion of the Future and “Sivas” which was part of the Golden Lion competition at the Venice Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize.
In 2022, the feature film “Drii Winter” screened in competition at the 72nd Berlinale and received an honorable mention. In addition, “Drii Winter” won the Swiss Film Award for Best Feature Film 2023.
The feature film “Someday We'll Tell Each Other Everything,” directed by Emily Atef was shown in competition at the 73rd Berlinale. The six-part series “37 Seconds”, directed by Bettina Oberli, has been nominated for the Grimme Prize 2024.
In 2023, he shot the mini-series “Call me Levi”, directed by Neele Leana Vollmar, which will premiere at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2024 in the New German Television section.
