FELIX NOVO DE OLIVEIRA
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Felix Novo de Oliveira grew up in Germany, Ecuador, Spain, and Portugal. He studied cinematography at the acclaimed Film Academy Baden-Württemberg and received a scholarship to attend “The Hollywood Masterclass” at the UCLA in Los Angeles and the “Budapest Cinematography Masterclass.”
He has received numerous nominations and awards. His film “Nimmermeer” won the Student Oscar, and in 2016 he received the German Camera Award for “Tatort – Schutzlos.”
His most recent film productions include the motion picture films “Rate your date” and “Das schwarze Quadrat” and the highly successful series “Unsere wunderbaren Jahre,” directed by Elmar Fischer.
In 2021, Felix Novo de Oliveira shot the six-part crime series "Lauchhammer," which was nominated for the 2023 German Television Award. In addition, Felix received a nomination in the category “Best Cinematography” for "Lauchhammer" as well as for the DAfFNE Award 2023.
