PHILIPP TIMME
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Philipp Timme began his career by gathering extensive experience as Director of Photography on commercials and documentaries in Germany. After a brief period serving as Visual Effects DP for such movies as “Independence Day” and “Armageddon,” he moved on to work as principal Director of Photography on more than 90 full-length features as well as numerous other projects, shooting in various countries in North and South America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
Academic credits include lectures on Special Lighting Techniques and Visual Effects in Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart, Munich, Cologne, Berlin, and Los Angeles, as well as extensive articles in trade publications.
