MARA EIBL-EIBESFELDT

Mara Eibl-Eibesfeldt is an award-winning director and screenwriter. She studied journalism, film studies and psychology at Freie Universität Berlin and later film directing at HFF Munich. Her film debut "Im Spinnwebhaus" premiered at the Berlinale "Perspektive Deutsches Kino," after which Variety named her one of the "10 Europeans to Watch."
In 2021, Eibl-Eibesfeldt directed and co-wrote the crime thriller "Der Gesang des Raben.“ Her feature film "Thabo - Das Nashorn-Abenteuer," which is based on the children's novel by Kirsten Boie and was filmed on original locations in South Africa, was released in 2023.
Mara Eibl-Eibesfeldt is represented by Patricia Barona.
