BERND LANGE
WRITER
Bernd Lange studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg (FABW), and though he began his career directing, since 2007 he has concentrated solely on writing. His graduation film “Requiem” was screened in competition at the Berlinale in 2006 and received numerous awards, including the Lola in Silver for Best Film at the German Film Awards.
“Requiem” also marks the beginning of Lange’s collaboration with director Hans-Christian Schmid, which led to his screenplays for “Sturm” (2009) and “Was bleibt” (2012), both of which screened in competition at the Berlinale. Schmid and Lange also created the joint series “Das Verschwinden,” which received numerous nominations and awards, including the German Television Award in 2017.
In 2021, Lange received the Bavarian Television Award for both the double episode of “Jubiläumstatort,” directed by Dominik Graf and Pia Strietmann, and the adaptation of Siegfrid Lenz' “Der Überläufer,” directed by Florian Gallenberger.

Bernd Lange wrote the screenplays for the 6-part series, produced by Wiedemann & Berg, directed by Cüneyt Kaya and Gregor Schnitzler.
The series is in post-production and a broadcast date has not yet been set.
TATORT - AD ACTA
A new Tatort episode with Eva Löbau and Hans-Jochen Wagner in the role of the detective team was shot in 2023 and will be broadcast at the end of September. The film is directed by Rudi Gaul and produced by SWR.

The latest episode of the SWR-Tatort with Eva Löbau and Hans-Jochen Wager has been shot in March/April and is in post-production.
