KIDA RAMADAN

ACTOR

Even before Kida Ramadan’s international success as Tony Hamady in “4Blocks,” directed by Marven Kren & Özgür Yildrim for TNT, he shone in “Umah – Unter Freunden” by Cuneyt Kaya, which would go on to win the Grimme Award.

His credits include “Oskars Kleid” by Hüseyin Tabak, “Die Goldfische” by Alireza Golafshan, “Wuff” and “Asphaltgorillas”, both by Detlev Buck, and “Klassentreffen” by Jan Gregor Schütte. Kida Ramadan directed “In Berlin wächst kein Orangenbaum“ in which he also starred.

As a producer he has acquired the rights to “Extras” from Ricky Gervais. Titled as „German Genius“, this series, directed by Detlev Buck and Cüneyt Kaya and starring Kida Ramadan, can be currently seen on SKY.

He also directed “Asbest” which was one most of the successful series for ARD Mediathek.

TESTO 2

Kida plays a leading role alongside Lulu Hacke and Brigitte Zeh in the motion picture “Es brennt,” coproduced by himself and directed by Erol Afsin.
The film was screened at the Filmfest München.
